Disposal
Asbestos waste collection and disposal in Manchester
Already have asbestos sheets or bags that need to go? A registered carrier can collect them, take them to a permitted site and give you the paperwork.

Asbestos waste cannot go in household bins or a normal skip. It must be double-wrapped, labelled and moved by a registered carrier to a permitted site. If someone else has already removed the material and left it on your property, the same rules apply to collecting it.
Send photos of the waste and its location. The carrier tells you whether it can be collected as it is, whether re-wrapping is needed and what paperwork you will receive.
